BEIJING, June 29(Xinhuanet)-- Nokia says it will take part in a EU pilot project to study the environmental impact of cellular phones to minimize the negative effects.

The project will evaluate products across their life cycle from manufacture to disposal and aims to promote more environmentally friendly products in the European Union.
Nokia, one of world's biggest phone maker, is based in Espoo, just outside the Finnish capital and has sales in 130 countries with 53,000 employees. |
